In September 2025, the Southern Tanzania Union Mission welcomed Pr. Magulilo Mwakalonge as its Executive Secretary, following his election at the East-Central Africa Division Executive Committee in Nairobi, Kenya. Before this pivotal role, Pr. Mwakalonge had served as the Executive Secretary of the Northern Tanzania Union Conference situated in Arusha.
Pr. Mwakalonge’s leadership journey began at the grassroots level, where he dedicated numerous years as a local church Pastor. On a momentous occasion during the East-Central Africa Division Executive Committee in Nairobi, Kenya, Eld. Shabatu Msaki assumed the crucial role of Treasurer for the Southern Tanzania Union Mission in September 2025. Before taking on this pivotal role, Eld. Shabatu Msaki had already established himself as a seasoned church leader. His extensive experience included serving as the East Central Tanzania Conference and Arusha College, showcasing a deep understanding of internal audit processes.
